Do I need an appointment?
Many dental imaging examinations can be performed without an appointment. Simply attend during clinic hours with a valid referral, or contact our team if you are unsure.
What happens during the scan?
For an OPG or lateral cephalogram, you will be asked to stand still while the scanner rotates around your head. The procedure is quick, painless and usually completed within a few minutes.
Is dental imaging bulk billed?
Most Medicare-eligible dental imaging examinations are bulk billed. If any fees apply, our team will discuss these with you before your appointment.
When will my results be ready?
Images and reports are typically available to your referring practitioner within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the type of examination performed.
