A CT scan with a contrast injection that produces detailed images of the coronary arteries. You may be given medication beforehand to slow your heart rate so the images are sharp.
What is calcium scoring?
A quick, non-contrast CT that measures calcium in the coronary artery walls, helping estimate your risk of coronary artery disease.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, cardiac imaging is by appointment, with a valid referral. Simply call our clinic or send through your referral via our appointment request form, and our friendly Booking Team will arrange a convenient appointment.
When will my results be available?
Reports are typically available within 24–48 hours.
